A treasure on NYS
This is on my bucket list. I’m going to do some research on transiting the entire length in 2025.

That’s great, don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any questions as you plan your trip!
How long would a trip from Pirates Cove Marina near Clay to Fort Edward take? We just purchased a boat & are trying to get the logistics semi down. Also, from Fort Edward to its slip in Port Henry? Thanks.
Jennifer:
Congratulations on your new boat purchase, Pirates Cove is at Mile Marker 158 on the Erie and Fort Edward is about 36 miles up the Champlain. How long the trip will take you is completely up to you, but I would say that at the absolute minimum would be 3 days on the Erie and another to get you home on the Champlain. I would take my time and enjoy the trip. Unfortunately the Canal Corp no longer publishes their Canal directory but the Skipper Bob series of guides does a Canal Guide that you might look into.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
