Seneca Falls Canal Harbor
For a boater Seneca Falls offers one of the best experiences available along the entire Canal System. If you’re traveling along the Erie at mile marker 200 avail yourself of a trip down the Cayuga Seneca Canal. At Lock 1 head west approx. 4 miles to lock 2/3, after a 50′ lift you will enter Van Cleef Lake. Less than a mile further you will enter the Seneca Falls Canal Harbor. Seneca Falls offers over 900′ of docking, with electric available for more than 20 boats. If you have a choice utilize the North side where water is also available. The Boater Amenities Building is also along the North Wall with bathrooms with showers and laundry as well as a lounge. As a boater many of Seneca Falls amenities are within a short walk of the harbor, and is a must stop for travelers along the Erie Canal Corridor.

I have been to Seneca Falls a number of times. My first trip on the Canal was on a friends boat for 4th of July weekend. We traveled from Montour Falls and having been a boater from LI I had never experienced anything like it. It only took one weekend in Seneca Falls to convince me that boating on the Erie Canal was very special and we have been doing it ever since
